Burnham & Berrow Golf Club Raises £2500!

The local golf club (Burnham & Berrow) have raised and donated a massive £2,500 to the charity. This is such a generous donation and it will make a huge difference to helping change lives for the better in the local community. Richard & George 100km Bike Ride

Rich Southon and his son George are bravely about to take part in a marathon 100km bike ride, the Somerset 100 which takes place the 15th May! They are doing this to raise money for the charity so please support them by donating as much as you can via their everyclick account and if you are a UK tax payer, remember to select the gift aid box! Thanks for your support!!

‘Burnham’s Got Talent’ Show 2016

The annual Burnham on Sea Talent Show aka ‘Burnham’s got Talent’ took place this year on Saturday 13th February at the Princess Theatre and was a huge success. Well done to the winners on the night and also to everyone who took part and thank you to all those who attended and supported the event. We raised over £300 for the charity for which we say a big thank you and special thanks also to both Lewis Coleman for organising the event and Princess Theatre for hosting it. We hope you all enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you next year!

Bereavement Cafe at St Andrews Church

There is a Bereavement cafe running on the 3rd Sunday of every month at St Andrews Church in Burnham on Sea starting at 4pm. If you have been affected by, or recently suffered a bereavement and would like to talk this through with others in a similar situation and receive support, please feel free to attend. Tuckers Fish & Chips Festive Night Raises £841!

Further to our update in November last year on Tuckers Fish & Chip Shops kindly choosing Somewhere House Somerset to support with the proceeds of their festive night, we’re delighted to announce they raised a whopping £841 for the charity. A huge thank you goes out to Tuckers and everyone who made it possible and supported it, what an incredible fundraising effort, proceeds of which will go to making a difference to lives in the local community, thank you again!!

Cake Sale at St Andrews Church

A cake sale was held at St Andrews Church on January 10th this year and we’re proud and grateful to announce we raised a total of £187 for the charity. Many thanks to everyone who donated cakes, ate cakes and paid for cakes! We really value the support of the local community on this. Also, a big thank you to the Reverend Sharon and the other clergy for having us and giving Rob some time to speak to the congregation about what Somewhere House Somerset is all about and why we do what we do
